Managing and processing training programmes including candidate profiles, training centres and completion status was a difficult and time consuming task , with information held in various places in both paper and database form. Maggie Braid Associates were looking for a programme to hold all of their data to enable reporting and analysis.
The solutionDDL created Programme Manager, a solution which provided a simple, easy to navigate interface whilst holding a high volume of data.
Administrators can add new candidates, assessors, test locations, courses and course dates. From a calendar, new training programmes can be created with assessor, location and candidates easily associated to it. Assessors can then view the details and print out a candidate list.
Reporting and analysis is a key feature. Reports can be generated across a range of variables, such as the number of successful candidates a particular assessor has, or the percentage pass rate in a particular course.
Programme Manager intergrates with another DDL product - E-qual Paperless Portfolio. It automatically creates access accounts for candidates where required.
E-qual is a web based 'e-portfolio' system which assists candidates in organising documentary evidence into a structured portfolio. Many of the courses organised by Maggie Braid Associates, such as NVQs, require evidence portfolios - therefore creating an E-qual account for candidates automatically is a useful and timesaving enhancement to the system.
